Bromley beekeepers are having a beginners day, run at the branch apiary, on Saturday 25th April 2020. Should demand exceed capacity, the day will be repeated on the following Saturday. The aim is to give initial experience of the honeybee life cycle, and how bees operate inside and outside the hive. Once the season gets going, there will be opportunities to handle bees in the branch apiary throughout the spring and summer. This day will hopefully establish a solid foundation for those intending to become regularly attending beginners.

Anyone wanting an initial experience of beekeeping is urged to attend a branch apiary meetings in March or April. (See Apiary Page).
